Covering a range of subjects and styles his writing would often be a very personal response to his own experiences and wider concerns and situations. Several books have been published and the latest of these has recently been published posthumously. <em>A Lark in Lockdown<\/em> is an autobiographical collection drawing together past musical experience with links to his weekly <em>Hastings Observer<\/em> columns.
