{"id":623,"date":"2012-10-12T10:41:09","date_gmt":"2012-10-12T09:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.larkreviews.co.uk\/?p=623"},"modified":"2012-10-12T10:41:09","modified_gmt":"2012-10-12T09:41:09","slug":"garsington-opera-pavilion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/?p=623","title":{"rendered":"Garsington Opera Pavilion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Garsington Opera Pavilion has won the prestigious British Construction Industry Award for the best new building under \u00a33 million, given at the 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary BCIA dinner held at Grosvenor House on 10 October 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This marks the <strong>sixth award<\/strong> to be received (others were the RIBA Award, for architectural excellence; the RIBA South Client of the Year Award; the RIBA South Building of the Year Award; the Galvanisers\u2019 Design Engineering Award and the Structural Steel Design Commendation).<\/p>\n<p>Anthony Whitworth-Jones, General Director of Garsington Opera, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We are delighted that our new Opera Pavilion has been so widely recognized; Snell Associates, Unusual Rigging, Sound Space Design and all the team have done a superb job.
