It was perfectly conceived for its setting as twilight fell, and showcased a gratifyingly inclusive cast and crew, all delivering at the very highest level.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Gars-Screw.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6218\" src=\"https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Gars-Screw.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"305\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Gars-Screw.jpg 305w, https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Gars-Screw-300x162.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 305px) 100vw, 305px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The award was open to all opera activities taking place in the 2019 season in the UK and the winner was chosen by a panel of specialists. We\u2019re all winners.\u201d A highlight of the 2019 Season, this production of Britten\u2019s masterpiece was acclaimed by 5-star reviews in the press and a hugely enthusiastic audience response.<\/p>\n<p>It featured a starry British cast and was enhanced by stand-out debut performances by the children playing Miles and Flora \u2013 among the most challenging juvenile roles in the whole operatic canon.
