{"id":4372,"date":"2018-05-23T09:57:08","date_gmt":"2018-05-23T08:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.larkreviews.co.uk\/?p=4372"},"modified":"2018-05-23T09:58:24","modified_gmt":"2018-05-23T08:58:24","slug":"garsington-opera-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.larkreviews.wickedlemon.co.uk\/?p=4372","title":{"rendered":"Garsington Opera 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0ANNIVERSARY SEASON ANNOUNCED<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garsington Opera is delighted to announce their 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary season in 2019 which will feature four new productions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Smetana\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Bartered Bride<\/em>,<\/span> conductor\u00a0<strong>Jac van Steen<\/strong>, director\u00a0<strong>Paul Curran<\/strong>with\u00a0<strong>Natalya Romaniw\u00a0<\/strong>as Marenka; the British stage premiere of<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Offenbach\u2019s\u00a0<em>Fantasio<\/em>,<\/span> conductor\u00a0<strong>Justin Doyle<\/strong>, director\u00a0<strong>Martin Duncan<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>Hanna Hipp<\/strong>\u00a0in the title role and\u00a0<strong>Jennifer France<\/strong>\u00a0as Princess Elsbeth;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Britten\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Turn of the Screw<\/em>,<\/span> conductor\u00a0<strong>Richard Farnes<\/strong>, director\u00a0<strong>Louisa Muller<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>Sophie Bevan<\/strong>\u00a0as the Governess<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Mozart\u2019s\u00a0<em>Don Giovanni<\/em><\/span>\u00a0with conductor\u00a0<strong>Douglas Boyd<\/strong>, director\u00a0<strong>Michael Boyd<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jonathan McGovern\u00a0<\/strong>in the title role.
