After sell-out performances of his Olivier Award-winning <em>Akhnaten,<\/em> <strong>Phelim McDermott<\/strong> returns to direct<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cal McCrystal<\/strong> directs a new production of Gilbert and Sullivan\u2019s <em>Iolanthe<\/em>, starring ENO Harewood Artist <strong>Samantha Price<\/strong> in the title role alongside ENO favourites <strong>Andrew Shore<\/strong> and <strong>Yvonne Howard<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Regent\u2019s Park Open Air Theatre <\/strong>and<strong> ENO <\/strong>present a new production of <em>The Turn of the Screw<\/em>, directed by multiple Olivier Award-winner and Artistic Director of the Open Air Theatre, <strong>Timothy Sheader<\/strong>. ENO Mackerras Fellow <strong>Toby Purser <\/strong>conducts<\/li>\n<li>Revivals of audience favourites include Jonathan Miller\u2019s <em>The Barber of Seville<\/em>, Richard Jones\u2019s <em>Rodelinda<\/em>, Phelim McDermott\u2019s <em>Satyagraha<\/em>, Robert Carsen\u2019s <em>A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em> and Fiona Shaw\u2019s <em>The Marriage of Figaro<\/em><\/li>\n<li>A raft of exciting British conductors new to ENO includes <strong>Leo McFall<\/strong>, <strong>Alexander Soddy<\/strong> and <strong>Hilary Griffiths<\/strong>. <strong>Keri-Lynn Wilson<\/strong> and <strong>Karen Kamensek<\/strong> return after acclaimed debuts in the 2014\/15 and 2015\/16 seasons respectively<\/li>\n<li><strong>Over 93% of cast and conductors<\/strong> in the 2017\/18 season are British born, trained or resident. <em>Rodelinda<\/em>, <em>Iolanthe<\/em>and <em>Satyagraha <\/em>all feature casts that are entirely British born, trained or resident<\/li>\n<li>More than <strong>15 principal roles<\/strong> across the 17\/18 season will be taken by current or former ENO Harewood Artists.<\/li>\n<li>Over <strong>39,500 tickets<\/strong> are available for <strong>\u00a320 or less<\/strong> across the 17\/18 season (500 for every performance)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today (27 April 2017) ENO has announced its 2017\/18 season, comprising four new productions and five revivals at the London Coliseum alongside performances at other venues during the summer. In the 2017\/18 season ENO will present nine fully-staged productions at the London Coliseum (following eight in the 2016\/17 season).
