Bringing it for the first time to the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and working together with the orchestra on this great music, will be a central pillar of my tenure as Music Director. I am thrilled that this first instalment, Das Rheingold, has been so faithfully and beautifully captured by the recording team. This release will serve as a document of a cast which would be the envy of any stage in the world, and of a great orchestra, making thrilling music together.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u2013\u00a0<\/i><b>Jaap van Zweden<\/b><\/p>\n<p>January 2016 sees the live concert recording of<b>\u00a0<i>Die Walk\u00fcre<\/i><\/b><i>,\u00a0<\/i>with\u00a0<b>Stuart Skelton<\/b>\u00a0as Siegmund,\u00a0<b>Heidi Melton<\/b>\u00a0as Sieglinde,\u00a0<b>Petra Lang<\/b>as Br\u00fcnnhilde,\u00a0<b>Matthias Goerne<\/b>\u00a0as Wotan,\u00a0<b>Michelle DeYoung<\/b>\u00a0as Fricka and<i>\u00a0<\/i><b>Falk Struckmann<\/b>\u00a0as Hunding.
